The bus brand SOR has entered the streets of Lublin

On Thursday, September 15, in Lublin at the “Plac Litewski” you could see the electric bus produced by the Czech company SOR Libchavy. The vehicle attracted a lot of emotion. It is the newest product of the Czech company famous for its production of city, intercity, tourist and trolley buses.

The bus, presented in Lublin is able to ride about 150 kilometers with the charged battery. On boardwill fit 85 passengers, of whom 19 are prepared for comfortable seating. Modern design, adapt to the needs of disabled people, low operating costs (due to lower cost of electricity and the possibility of recovering energy when braking) and the lack of environmental impact (low noise and no emissions of toxic gases to the environment) make it extremely attractive for bus communication, as well as public transport vehicles operating in resorts and spas, as well as areas where predominates historic architecture.

POL-MOT Warfama, which plans to launch SOR buses, intends to participate in the tender -organized (in the near future) by the Transport Authority, which aim is to purchase new vehicles for public transport. Currently, between the Polish company and Czech manufacturer held talks on two issues: launching trolley assembly in the factory in Lublin, and also manufacture electric buses here as well. Decisions are to be taken by the end of this year.
