URSUS production has started

On 20 December the POL-MOT Warfama S.A. launched the production of test series URSUS tractors. Firstly in Lublin will be produced tractors with engines delivering up to 110 HP, but the planis to extend the range of produced tractors with horsepower from 50 to 160. According to the plans, production will be located in branch in Lublin in former Cars Factory in Melgiewska street.Tractorsare used primarily in agriculture, but also can be designed to work in horticulture, municipal services, forestry, and others.

The actions implemented by the Management Board are the expression of the strategy, adopted by the Board, to progressively increase the sales volume of tractors so that in the near future become a leading manufacturer. The result of these activities will increase also the number of jobs in Lublin.

POL-MOT Warfama SA is one of the biggest Polish producers of agricultural equipment and the only company in the industry of agricultural machinery and equipment, which is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The Company specializes in the production of roll balers, bale wrapping machines, manure spreaders, trailers, front loaders TUR and tractors. The Company has a factory in Dobre Miasto situated near Olsztyn and three divisions in Biedaszki Małe near Kętrzyn, in Lublin and in Opalenica near Poznan.

In branch in Lublin are assembled pick-ups Grand Tiger with engine 170 HP and four-wheel drive. In March 2009 the Company received certificate of approval for a pick-up Grand Tiger, authorizing to sell cars in the European Union. POL-MOT Warfama SA is a manufacturer of one of the most technologically advanced and most efficient briquetting line (LTBS). Manufactured briquettes and pellets is mainly used in power industry.
